Stan van Loon is graduated in Chemistry (1971) and Civil Law (1981) at Leyden University. He was partner of the Dutch Law Firm Vereenigde for many years. He has a wide experience in almost all areas of chemistry, being biology and medicine, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals the favorite specializations. Over the years he has been involved closely with many major international law suits in these areas.

Graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences, specialization in Genetics, in 1982.
She was examiner in the Biotechnology branch at the Cuban Patent Office, and also has worked as patent agent in several law firms, in Cuba and Ecuador. She has also worked in support to R&D projects and patent protection for several scientific institutions.

Member of the Board of Trustees of the Centre for the Management of Intellectual Property in Health, Research and Development, MIHR, and co-author of the Handbook of Best Practices for Management of Intellectual Property in Health Research and Development, (United Kingdom, 2003).

She has been associate professor of a graduate on IP of the Cuban Patent Office.

Now she collaborates as WIPO expert on patent drafting in the life sciences field. She has also given services of patent drafting to other law firms from Argentina and Spain.
Head of Trademark and Legal Department

Graduated in Law (Summa cum laude) from Havana University, Cuba (1989), and from Catholic University of Ecuador (1998). Academy of American and International Law, Southwestern Legal Foundation, Dallas, Texas (2000). She has worked as a trademark and patent agent in Cuba,Venezuela and Ecuador. Legal off-counsel for several I&D institutions on patent protection and technology transfer.

Speaker in a number of Seminars for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Latin-American Integration Association (ALADI), Licensing Executives Society (LES) and Intellectual Property Interamerican Association (ASIPI). Professor of Industrial Property Law and History of State and Law. University of Havana. Cuba. Professor of Intellectual Property Law, Central University of Ecuador.

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering, in 1987.

He has been involved in IP matters, working as examiner in the Mechanical field of the Cuban Patent Office, and also as patent agent in several law firms, since 1987.

He is member of AIPPI and ASIPI.
