Academy of American and International Law, Southwestern Legal Foundation, Dallas, Texas (2000). Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property (MIP) OBS – University of Barcelona, Spain.(2013-2014). She has worked as a trademark and patent agent in Cuba,Venezuela and Ecuador. Legal off-counsel for several I&D institutions on patent protection and technology transfer.

Speaker in a number of Seminars for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Latin-American Integration Association (ALADI), Licensing Executives Society (LES) and Intellectual Property Interamerican Association (ASIPI). Attorney at law and Doctorate , graduated in Central University of Quito (2000).

Wide experience in regulatory matters (Agricultural registrations and Food and Drug regulations) in Ecuador.

Actively involved in regulatory and intellectual property matters since 1995.

She has lectured conferences about legal and technical issues related to the Agricultural Register and regulatory issues and has attended many events organized by the authorities of the Ministries of Agriculture and of Public Health of Ecuador, and by the Colombo-Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce of Colombia.

She has attended several events organized by the local authorities in the matter (namely Agricultural Ministry and Public Health Ministry).

She used to work in some tier Law Firms in Ecuador, managing and advising registration and labeling of products and protection of complex trademarks portfolios in Latin-American countries. References upon request.
